Mugal Garden, the heart of RashtrapatiBhawan is spread over a vast expanse of 15 acres and is so beautiful at the time of February- March. These are the type of gardens built by Mughals. It is located inside RashtrapatiBhawan complex, near gate number 35. There are roses, tulips, Asiatic lilies, daffodils, hyacinth and other seasonal flowers to beautify the garden. It is well maintained and is taken care under many workers.It is known because of the variety of flora, including not only all Indian varieties but also many famous exotic varieties of flowers and plants. The garden is laid out highly aesthetically. The beauty of this place leaves quite an impression on tourists.

History:
The Mughal garden was designed by Sir Edwin Lutynes for Lady Harding. This English architect was known for versatility and range of invention. From the beginnings of the Mughal Empire, the construction of gardens was a beloved imperial pastime. As for location, the Mughal emperors selected places of great natural beauty. Often they selected mountain slopes with gushing water to layout gardens. Almost every Mughal Garden has a very important building like a residential places, forts etc.
Architecture:
Designs of Mughal Gardens are extracted from medieval Islamic garden. The garden includes running waters and fountains, which is the most important feature. It gives a look of paradise. It has a pool to reflect the beauty of sky and garden.
